From Whale Watchers Retreat it is a short drive to Freycinet Peninsula, Coles Bay and beautiful Wineglass Bay with many side trips along the way. Bicheno is the gate way to the East Coast with a beautiful sheltered bay for water sports or just to watch the fishing boats unload. You could also just sit on your cabins deck, relax in the peaceful setting and don't go anywhere else.

Travel directions:
Whale Watchers Retreat is located 4 miles North of Bicheno on Rosedale Road, turn off the Tasman Highway and drive 200 metres and we are on the left. Drive straight up to the top of the driveway and to reception. The Bicheno township is about 2-hours’ drive (182 kilometres/113 miles) north-east of Hobart via the Tasman Highway.
